Lotto King Karl.
Lotto King Karl, eigentlich Gerrit Heesemann, (* 4. Februar 1967 in Hamburg) ist ein deutscher Musiker.
Nach seinem Abitur auf dem altehrwürdigen Johanneum 1986 machte Lotto King Karl 1995 Karriere als Rockmusiker und gab als Marketinggag an, einen erheblichen Lottogewinn gewonnen zu haben. Damit stieg er zu einer Hamburger Lokalgröße auf, auch weil er sich in seinen Liedern mit Hamburger Themen beschäftigt (zum Beispiel HSV, Reeperbahn, Elbe).
Sein Auftreten ist wie seine Musik bodenständig und unpolitisch. Lotto King Karl vertreibt seine Platten über das eigene Label Northcoast Records beim Vertrieb der Sony. Er gibt regelmäßig Konzerte und ist in den lokalen Medien präsent. Daneben arbeitet er zum Beispiel als Radiomoderator und Stadionsprecher bei Fußballspielen.
Seine Bewerbung für den Eurovision Song Contest 2000 mit „Fliegen“ scheiterte an Stefan Raab, der sich mit dem Song „Wadde hadde dudde da?“ durchsetzen konnte.
2003 spielte Lotto King Karl in seiner ersten Filmrolle den Andy Ommsen, genannt „Stullen-Andi“, in Der letzte Lude.
